Today has been a productive day, and I really love producitve days. Not crazy busy, just steady & getting stuff crossed off of my ‘to do’ list.
I finished 2 custom orders from my sewing list today, balanced our budget, placed an order for sewing supplies (nothing fun, just zippers & interfacings), baked myself some delicious banana & chocolate chip muffins, and i’m currently working on laundry.

I was going to try to figure out some of our mortgage stuff for our lump sum payment, but I can’t seem find where I wrote down our info. It looks like i’m going to have to call the bank again for that tomorrow. I have no idea what I did with it.. i’m thinking I probably tore the page out of my notebook absentmindedly and recycled it with a handful of other notes… oops! 😬 It’s kind of typical of me, I don’t lose stuff, I toss it. My husband will not be surprised.. lol!
I have a few things left on my ‘to do’ list to accomplish then i’m done for the day. I think i’m going to get some reading in and then watch another episode of “The Chosen” tonight. I watched the first episode last night and it’s really well done!
I think that’s about it for me today! I hope everyone is having an awesome day!
What are you currently reading and/or watching?
you have had a busy day. I dropped off a quilt top to be quilted by a lovely lady. Will post about it when I get the border on. Lovely lady. Reading, “The Last Word,” by Ellery Adams and working on a cross stitch card for my mother!

Ooh, I love those productive but not overly-busy days! I’m currently reading Yaa Gyasi’s Homegoing for my book club. It’s not one that would have caught my interest, but I’m enjoying it. Now to hustle through and finish by Sunday haha!! Hope you continue to have a wonderful day!

Yes, I just finished it last night. I did enjoy it. It basically follows the lineage of two half-sisters in Ghana, with each chapter covering a slice of someone’s life. It begins with people being sold into slavery by other tribes in Africa or married off to Englishmen, and traces forward to slavery and abolition in America, the plight of black Americans in Harlem, etc. It’s was informative without being overly “white man bad” which I have a hard time with.

My workday is almost over, then I’ll tackle my to-do list as well. Hoping I’m as productive as you have been. 😃
