It’s been a long day, it’s almost bedtime & it’s -27c with the windchill. When I wake up it’ll be -41c (-41.8F) with the windchill. A temperature which is pretty rare on Cape Breton Island from what I’m understanding.
For myself, it’s WAY too cold. I won’t be stepping foot outside until Monday when the temperature reaches a mild & balmy 3c. 🌞
This weekend will consist of sewing, housework, baking, reading, etc… most of all, I’ll be staying warm.
What are your weekend plans? Anyone else getting a little arctic 🥶 blast of cold?

I’m not going anywhere today either. Our wind chills are -30 and that means a cup of tea and a good book.
