
Gratitude has been shown to be consistently associated with greater happiness. It gives us more energy, happiness, positive emotions, lowers stress & anxiety, improves our health (seriously!), makes us more generous & forgiving, and even helps build stronger relationships!
Today I am grateful for:
- Sunshine. 🌞 We haven’t seen the sun in 4 days, it’s too long & it was showing in my mood. It was absolutely beautiful this afternoon!! My daughter & I hung out on our deck for 20+ minutes in our stocking feet, no coats or anything needed, simply enjoying the warmth from the sun & soaking in some vitamin D. Such a blessing!
- Friends. 🫂 I somehow messed up measurements on an item I make, not just on one, but on a handful!! *cry* I was beyond frustrated with myself as I had worked on these for two days. My friend said to use them as mini planner purse organizers, for stickers, pens, highlighters, etc… SUCH a great idea and with my brain fog it didn’t even occur to me to do that! Two days of hard work & beautiful materials saved…
- My husband. ❤️ He works sooo hard for us & very rarely complains about it. Yet he listens to me complain about little aches & pains and stupid little things. I try really hard not to complain, but sometimes it just escapes from my brain and out of my mouth… 🙊

Today I’m grateful for the rain (a welcomed change), a hot cup of tea, for my loving boyfriend, and for this wonderful blogging community. Gratitude is such a great tool to boost our positive feelings, so thank you for the reminder today, Carla. 😊
